Great news for flower lovers! Japanese researchers have recently identified a gene that could increase the life cycle of certain flowers, including roses. Researchers at the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization in Tsukuba, Japan, have uncovered the gene they believe responsible for the aging of cut flowers.
